Ball Sports Insurance

Ball sports are ubiquitous in the United Kingdom and as a collective group form our nation’s most popular method of recreation. Adventsure offers a range of insurance policies that anyone taking part can effect to cover either damage to their equipment, themselves or members of the public. Whether you are a Sunday footballer, a budding Wimbledon champion, prefer the hurly burly of rugby or the relative tranquillity of a walk around the golf course, we have a policy that will provide the cover that you need. We insure a very wide range of ball sports and our equipment policy provides cover on a Worldwide “All-risks” basis including damage to items whilst in use.

What can we offer you?

Damage to Equipment

If you are a participant in a ball or racquet sport of almost any description, we offer the opportunity to insure your equipment on a worldwide “All-risks” basis. Such cover includes accidental damage (including whilst in use) theft and loss. We insure all types of equipment including; clothing, protective gear, racquets, sticks, clubs and lawn or short mat bowls.

Personal Accident

Whilst many ball sports are generally considered safe as there is no physical interaction between players, some are considered to be contact sports which carry a higher probability of an injury occurring.

Injuries can occur either directly from another participant, for example as a result of tackling or from players equipment such as injuries sustained from being hit by a hockey stick. We are able to offer accident insurance against injury occurring whilst you take part in your chosen sport and you are free to select the cover that suits your individual needs.

Public Liability

If you take part in ball sports, accidents involving members of the public can occur and there are many cases where persons  have been struck for example by a stray ball and injuries have occurred. To help protect you against claims, we can offer public liability insurance of £2,000,000. Whilst public liability insurance is seldom compulsory, it is a very worthwhile cover to have in place.  For some ball sports we can also include cover for claims brought by other competitors.
