Climbing Insurance

Climbing is a sport in its own right and most of its various forms can be covered by an insurance policy from Adventsure. Although in its simplest form climbing needs nothing more than the appropriate footwear, there are other forms which need more specialist equipment all of which can be insured against loss or damage.

Though it’s various guises climbing becomes more challenging and requires a greater level of skill and safety equipment. We will insure most forms of indoor and outdoor climbing including bouldering, abseiling, ice climbing, cliff climbing, sport climbing & of course the  exciting and popular  via ferrata

What can we offer you?

Damage to Equipment

If you are a serious climber employing more than the use of a stout pair of shoes or boots you will know the value and importance of your equipment both for your own enjoyment and safety.

We will cover all forms of climbing equipment including; ropes, harnesses, helmets, clothing and safety gear. Our policy underwritten at Lloyd’s of London covers  “All-risks” Insurance which includes accidental damage theft and loss including damage or loss whilst in use.

Personal Accident

With the right level of experience and the correct equipment climbing is a relatively safe sport. However accidents can happen and even the most competent climber can succumb to an injury caused by a simple trip or slip especially if climbing outdoors in wet weather. With Adventsure, you can insure against a sports injury by selecting the level of cover most appropriate for your needs. We offer insurance for bother permanent disabilities as well as partial/temporary injuries.

Public Liability

If you take part in climbing of any description, the good news is that due to the environment in which climbing takes place, injuries to members of the public are rare. However that said, accidents when they do occur are costly to defend and court awards can be high. We believe that anyone taking part in a sporting activity should have a liability policy in place to help protect against claims. We offer public liability insurance of £2,000,000.
